This sodium chloride-impregnated dressing helps stimulate the cleansing of moist necrosis (slough) in draining and infected wounds. By absorbing exudate, bacteria, and necrotic material from the wound and into the dressing, Mesalt Ribbon facilitates the natural wound healing process.
