Description
Overview
The Philips DreamStation Heated Humidifier is a user-friendly humidifier designed to match Respironics DreamStation machines. It is designed to help you adjust to your therapy in an easier and quicker way.
Optional: A heated hose can be added to the device to maintain the heat of the air as it moves through the pipe to the mask.
Features
Adaptive humidification
When paired with a DreamStation machine, the DreamStation humidifier can be set to “Adaptive” mode, allowing the device to match the room temperature and humidity levels to its heating levels as needed. The humidifier can also be set to a fixed humidification if the user wants to maintain a heating level throughout the night.
User-friendly chamber design
The DreamStation humidifier has an easily accessible water tank located in the center of the device. Release the lid by gently pushing forward the tab on top of the humidifier. The panel will open completely, exposing the water chamber. This 325 ml chamber lifts easily with both hands holding on either side of the rectangular shape.
Dry Box Technology
Dry Box technology was created to help reduce the risk of water damage when the humidifier is used with the DreamStation machine. The air outlet port uses a one-way valve to prevent water leakage.
Optional heating hose
Adding the OPTIONAL heating hose to CPAP therapy can reduce the risk of condensation while providing heated therapy. As the hot air passes from the humidifier to the machine, the heated hose maintains a high temperature to ensure that the heated air is supplied to the user. When hot air is drawn into the pipe, the temperature of the pipe prevents ambient temperatures from cooling the hot air inside the tube.
